Delitzsch
The old city with its defence towers, the 500-year old church of St. Peter-and-Paul, the Castlemuseum and the Dr.Hermann-Schulze-Delitzsch-House. The house contains the foundation documents.

Leipzig
Die The historic city of books, theatre and music offers a wide range of sights: Museums, the St. Nicolai Church, the late gothic St. Thomas Church, the Russian Church, the Auerbach-cellar (where the young Goethe ate and drank while studying in Leipzig) and the Leipzig Trade Fair. Music lovers will seek out the Gewandhaus. The main railway station (Hauptbahnhof) offers shopping malls. If you are here in december, a visit to the famous Christmas-Market is a Must. It first took place in 1767.

Lützen
Gustav-Adolf-memorial erected in memory of theSwedish king who was killed here in 1632.

Ferropolis
The "city of steel" was created for the international exhibition EXPO 2000. 5 gigantically lignite excavators are the background for open-air concerts ( both classical and modern music) and theatre performances. Some of this machines are 30 meters high and 120 meters long. Rail trolly-tours (5½ km and return) can be booked.

Goitzsche
A former brown coal mining area has been flooded to create a huge lake (more than 25 square kilometers.) There are cycle paths around the lake (more than 70 kilometers). The hotel-owned cycles or cycle-tandem are available for rent.

BMW + PORSCHE
Visitors are welcome at the new BMW and Porsche factories. The BMW 3-er series and the PORSCHE Cayenne are built here. Our hotels can arrange visits to these factories.
